Chafanarosa Buy and Sell

Chafanarosa Buy and Sell is an e-commerce web application that allows users to buy and sell products. Users can become site members by signing up. Authorized users can create, read, update, or delete their ads and set an expiry date for each listing. Customers can anonymously send inquiries about active ads to the ad owner, and the responses will be stored in the database for future reference
This web application consists of multiple web pages that use different JavaScript Functions. BMR Calculator: A calorie intake calculator to determine the daily energy needs based on age, sex, height, weight and level of physical activity. Table Generator: A dynamic webpage that generates a customizable HTML table displaying each cell’s (row, column) info. It uses JS arrays to store and process the data. Photo Gallery: This Gallery uses the DOM to programmatically manage favourite images with add/remove functionality and visual design improvements

The application allows users to add products to their basket, modify or remove items, and automatically calculate the total bill, including tax. It also provides a seamless checkout process and order-tracking functionality, ensuring a smooth user experience. This project demonstrates efficient database management and interactive UI development for an intuitive e-commerce solution.
ShovelHero is an innovative mobile app designed to revolutionize the winter shovelling experience for homeowners while providing young entrepreneurs with opportunities for personal growth and financial independence. This Android app was developed as part of a software development project by a team of five. The project began with a proposal, followed by user role modelling, writing user stories with acceptance tests, designing prototypes, planning releases and iterations, monitoring progress, drafting a technical report, and finally releasing the software.

E-book Reader

E-book Reader is a WPF app in C# allowing logged-in users to read books on their bookshelf. When the user finishes reading, the snapshot of the reading activity will be recorded so that they can continue reading from where they left off last time. The app used an AWS DynamoDB table to store users’ login credentials and an S3 Bucket to store the books on the bookshelf.
Health-Care Center is a modern web application that helps nurse practitioners monitor patients during the first weeks of their release from the hospital and also helps patients monitor their daily activities. It allows the nurses to monitor patients’ vital signs, send daily motivational tips, and offer medical advice using AI-driven analysis of symptoms using deep learning. The patients can track their daily health metrics, receive emergency alerts, and complete symptom checklists, all stored securely in MongoDB.
